Hello My Name Is...

Mr. Goultrey

I have been an art teacher for PWCS non traditional programs for
over ten years. I enjoy helping students improve their inner
creative spark, and look forward to working with
old and new students every year.

Weekly Learning Objectives

I have placed several items that may be of use to students who want to stay current or supplement their art education.

Under Classroom files you will find an ART History binder that can be completed for credit. (Any portion will count towards your overall grade), and an ART 1 credit recovery packet which contains our vocabulary terms and art creation concepts.

I have also included a file stating everything that we have covered this semester, so far, as well as the SOL objects completed for reference.  And once I get the go ahead I hope to start uploading my own tutorials for students to continue to grow artistically. In the mean time..

If you still want to practice your art creation skills, Remember that all students are working on individual areas of study. In which case it may be useful to look up tutorial videos on YouTube to gain insight or inspiration. I suggest PROKO 's page if you are interested in improving basic and advanced drawing skills. And if you are interested in painting, Bob Ross's videos are a good source for beginning and advanced techniques, and can usually be applied to any paint media you would like. (oil, Acrylic, water color)
